About

Taryag … Across the Miles is located in Harish, the newest and fastest growing
city in Israel.
The world of Jewish art is dynamic and ever-evolving; we strive to showcase
works from a variety of Israeli artists working in wood, metal and stone, designer
textile products such as Tallit and Tefillin cases, challah covers and table linens.
Taryag … Across the Miles is dedicated to providing kosher mezuzahs and
beautiful mezuzah covers. Our Tefillin are guaranteed as absolutely kosher to the
highest level, from truly God-fearing sofers.
One of our main highlights are the handcrafted Judaica items by artist Yitzhak
Itzhaki and his son, Eitan Yosef Itzhaki.
Artist Yitzhak Itzhaki is a man of many talents who, even as a young boy, began
to engage in carpentry whereby his family discovered his extraordinary technical
and artistic talent. His creative powers began to flow and over the years he never
stopped creating … in almost every field possible: song writing, painting,
sculpture, veneer work and even building holy cabinets for synagogues (and, in
contrast, professional snooker tables). Everything he creates is handmade and of
outstanding originality.
His son, Eitan Yosef Itzhaki, owner of Taryag Judaica and co-owner of Taryag …
Across the Miles, is an innovative artist using technology to break new artistic
ground and an accomplished portrait artist.
Chaiya Rivkah Monas, co-owner of Taryag … Across the Miles, is an educator,
freelance writer and creative artist specializing in personalized storybooks for
children of all ages, product advertisement, content writing and blogs. Born and
raised in Ontario, Canada, Chaiya Rivkah made aliyah directly to Harish in 2019.
Aside from her professional responsibilities she is a volunteer with Sar-El
(working at military bases), getting her hands into the soil to assist farmers at this
time of war, cooking and distributing hot food to military bases for the late night
shift and making hand-painted cards to distribute to the wives of soldiers who are
away at the front.
We look forward to partnering with you to bring joy and comfort, strength and
encouragement to our chalayim (soldiers) as they so valiantly go forth to protect
all Klal Yisroel.
